Q: How do I remove dirty marks off my walls?
A: For the best result you should only use a damp soft lint cloth on any low sheen or gloss surfaces (not on flat paint).

Q: What kind of maintenance is required for the external paint on my home?

A:
It’s a good idea to wash your house down at least every 6 to 8 months.  This helps remove dirt and grime build-up and helps maintain your homes exterior during the period between re-coating.

Q: How do I maintain my decking?

A:
You should wash your deck ever 6 months and re-coat when the decks start looking dry.  If in direct sunlight, you should coat more often.

Q: What should I do if the steel on my house starts rusting?
A:
You should contact us as soon as possible.  We can treat your steel with two pack coatings or single pack enamel.

 

Q: Are all paints the same?
A:
No.  Generally the rule is, the more you pay the better the paint.  It’s a good idea to stick to only the leading brands.
i.e.: Dulux, Taubmans, Solver, Resene, Bristol.

Q: What should I expect my painting contractor to do?
A:
You should expect to be provided with a professional service with ongoing updates of the job progress.

Q: Where should I put my feature wall?

t’s always a good idea to put feature walls where your eyes will catch them
i.e.: nooks and TV walls

Q:  What kind of paint is best for my door and frames?
A:
Most people use full-gloss enamel on their frames and doors, but if you want a finish with a little bit less shine you should use semi-gloss enamel.
