The story of how the family operated Derksen Decorating came to be is one of love and destiny:

Once upon a time there was a young painter, who began his career as an apprentice at the ripe young age of 13.  As his career blossomed, his experience grew and his devotion to his art deepened, he took on the role of Assistant Manager of a major Sunshine Coast paint store, allowing him to gain a vast knowledge of paint and other related products. 

Then Mark met Jade, sparks flew, and their dream of owning their own business was realized just before they were married in 2003.  Ever since, this young, eager and enthusiastic couple have strived to provide a service and craftsmanship that outshines any other on the market.  Being family operated, Derksen Decorating ensures a close, professional and well coordinated team on every project.

Derksen Decorating's motto is “One wall or all”, which simply states that they can offer any kind of painting service to their wide spectrum of clients.  Whether it’s a commercial, residential, or government project, repaint or even a simple feature wall - Derksen Decorating does it all!
